a 45’ free improvisation conceptual concert
A sound experience that employs speculation and free improvisation as methods for crafting an immersive fiction using declassified archives from various aerospace agencies, sound archives of radio transmissions and signals, in conjunction with audio synthesis and real-time signal processing.
In a collective experiment, the recontextualization of these materials opens cracks in the official narratives, from which voices, events, and sounds emerge, flowing through the ether and atmospheric gases.
When: Commissioned by CK:/WEB. Performed in the auditorium of the Bogotá Planetarium on the 21st of June, 2024. Performed again in Persona, Medellín on the 2nd of August, 2024.
